Julie Jasper, Grandma JuJu to her family and loved ones, suddenly lost her husband of 40 years on December 12th. Bill went to be with the angels along with their son, Travis, who passed away suddenly February 2, 2020.

Julie is the sunshine in all our lives. She is the most caring, sweetest, kindest person you’ll ever meet. You’ll find her most days working hard, playing with her grandkids who she loves with all her heart, or helping everyone she meets. She’s been a long-time animal lover, especially of horses. Everyone who knows her feels her warmth and sweetness.

Her beloved community of Smartsville came to her support on December 12th and has been surrounding her with love during this hard time. Many people in the community know Julie from her time working at Holiday Market in Lake Wildwood and her time volunteering at the local hospital. Friends and family have been visiting and bringing cheer, especially when it is the holiday season and a hard time to lose your best friend and life partner.

Let’s come together as a community to help Grandma JuJu as she’s always been there for us. She is too humble to ask for help, so this is how we can. Mortgage bills, past hospital bills from Bill’s previous medical treatments, and upcoming bills can all be overwhelming. So send her a card, stop by with a meal, give her a big hug when you see her, or give a few dollars to help this amazing person we all love - JULIE!
