For those who know Louise Weeks, remember her generosity and willingness to always give back and help those in need. Whether it was the shirt off her back or her last $5 bill, Louise was always there to help. Around Christmas time, Louise would dress up in a Santa Clause outfit, and deliver Christmas presents to kids and families in the community. To honour "Grammy's" legacy, we have created Grammy's Gifts, a toy/gift fundraiser to give back to kids and families in Prince Edward Island over the holidays. During the month of December, her grandkids will be collecting toys and gifts through a toy drive, and all items will be delivered to families who could use a little bit of extra help to ensure all kids in our community have a joyful Christmas. All toy donations can be dropped off at Allan Weeks Real Estate Co. in Hunter River, or contact one of our family members to arrange toys to be picked up.
