So, we are taking on the Hadrian’s wall challenge on the weekend of the King's Coronation to help a very special person in our lives - he must be special as it is 84 miles long!!
My brother Graham had a very unfortunate motorbike accident back in September 2022, which changed all our lives forever leaving him Paralysed from his man boobs down leaving him unable to walk ever again.
He is currently working toward rebuilding his life having past the first stage of recovery at James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough, presently Graham’s home. The staff there are doing an amazing job with him as just generally dealing with Graham is a job in itself
Friends and Family who are taking part in this walk are trying to help raise as much money as possible to help Graham move forward in his new chapter and anyone who would like to join is more than welcome
We are asking for anything at all, no amount donated would be too small, it will all be greatly appreciated. All that is raised will have a huge impact on day to day life for Graham.
We are aiming mainly for a specially adapted wheelchair to help Graham get his independence back. This will also help others out when he is being fat and lazy, so nobody puts their back out pushing him to the pub
A large donation will also be sent over to the Air Ambulance as a thank you for their amazing work. If it was not for them, I hate to think what the end result may have been.
So please anything you can give will help us take that step closer to getting Graham home and back to what will be his new normal.
