Grace's Missions Outreach in Japan

Hi everyone!

My name is Grace McCarthy and I am currently in my Discipleship Training School (DTS) at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Maui!

DTS is a 6 month school and I am in month 2 of 3 months of lecture phase learning about how to be missionary and deepening my personal relationship with Jesus. At the end of March I will be transitioning into my outreach phase which is 3 months of hands on missions and my team will be heading to Japan!

I am so grateful for all that the Lord is teaching me and so excited to be a part of such an incredible team who is so passionate about sharing the gospel and loving people as Jesus does. Japan is the second least reached people group of the world and despite being advanced in secular ways, they are in desperate need of Jesus. The Lord is growing my heart for Japan so much already and I cannot wait to see what He does in our time there.

With that being said I am in need of lots of prayer!! Please continue to pray for my team and I to be prepared for what the Lord has in Japan and to be a good representation of Christ-like love to all those we encounter. I am also in financial need of $3,500 in order to go on my outreach! This will cover all my expenses for my time in Japan as well as my airfare. I know this seems like a lot but the Lord is so faithful and I know he can provide for His will!!
