Those of you whose lives Grace Sailors has been a part of know that a multitude of burdens have been bestowed upon her in her lifetime. She's always been a maverick and despite her trials and tribulations she forged her own path.
Grace has given selflessly to many of us. She's been generous to a fault and often found herself left wanting in her own times of need.
In these past 20 some years Grace took in and has been caring for her younger sister Margaret. She's provided safety, shelter, stability, sustenance, and companionship even through her own hardships such as her battle with breast cancer.
Margaret was suddenly diagnosed with metastatic gallbladder cancer as an incidental finding while undergoing a gallstone removal in the beginning of July this year. The cancer was incurable and untreatable. It was a catastrophic shock.
Margaret declined rapidly in the comfort of their home. Grace exhaustively cared for her day and night as Margaret succumbed to the cruel disease, up to the night Margaret passed and was released from her suffering.
Heartbreakingly Grace's suffering and hardship continues. Grace lives on a very small fixed income. Grace and Margaret each paid one half of the monthly mortgage. With Margaret's passing Grace is left unable to pay her mortgage. While still reeling from her grief and trauma Grace has very recently begun seeking out tenants to supplement the mortgage payment. There's optimism that she'll find people to rent but she desperately needs outside help to make her mortgage payments till that happens.
She's helped and selflessly given to many of us and never asked for anything in return. Now is our chance to reciprocate. She's lost too much for one lifetime. Please donate, any size contribution could save her from losing her home.
