On Tuesday 15th July this year The Flash will be celebrating our 13th Birthday. That is 13 years of serving south-east Hampshire with an alternative music service that does not just rotate the same tired pop hits. 13 years of concentrating on 'Real Music' by celebrating the talents of proper musicians. 13 years of promoting our amazing local live music scene, and the great music produced by local artists. That is also 13 years of celebrating & promoting all that is positive in our local communities, from charities to fundraising events.

The Flash is a not for profit community radio station that is run entirely by volunteers, and our regular costs are mainly covered by monthly donations from very kind listeners and presenters. Having said that we have often struggled to find the money required to either replace tired equipment, or purchase new equipment that could help move the radio station forward.

We understand that these are difficult times for many of us, but we would really appreciate it if you were able to donate whatever you can afford to help us raise funds towards the purchase of the following items:-

1) An Omnitronic XDP-3002 Twin CD Deck - £314.00

2) An Audio Technica Record Deck - £249.00

3) We’d really appreciate funds towards materials & payment for the installation of a new studio desk - £200

Finally, if we were able to get any additional money it would go towards a much needed update of our computer systems - £1300
