The Girl on the Left is turning up the holiday magic this year: and we’re doing it for two unstoppable female-led families and their daughters.

As a women’s empowerment project, we love showing up for families who embody strength, resilience, and the kind of spark that inspires us every day.

We’ve partnered again with The Caring & Sharing Foodbank , a team we trust implicitly, to make sure every donation goes straight to creating a holiday full of joy, comfort, and a little extra magic.

Leading the charge is GOTL Founder Megan Dirks and her husband Chris Dirks, who have been sponsoring families every holiday season for over five years, virtually or in-person. This year? Our GOTL co-authors jumped in too, because when women come together, the ripple effect is unstoppable.

Together, we’re filling two homes with gifts, household essentials, and all the little touches that turn a holiday into a memory that lasts.

This work is personal. Many of us have leaned on programs like this in our own lives, so we know exactly how powerful it is when someone shows up for you.
