Gordy Pratt was diagnosed with tonsil cancer October, 2019. Surgery would be a more painful and destructive option so he will have chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  He is unable to work and he and performing partner Dalyce Sellers have had to cancel their shows.  The docs aren’t sure if his voice will come back after treatment, or if it does, whether it will sound the same. Consequently no one knows how long he will be out of commission and what the future holds for him professionally.
 
Needless to say, all of this is already severely affecting his bank account. Gordy has already amassed a $7,000 bill due to dental work that is required prior to treatment … and the bills keep coming. So, several of Gordy’s friends, including Dalyce, Paul Larsen and Jim Thompson, will be doing a “Get Well Gordy” Fundraiser – likely early 2020.  Specifics about the event will be announced at a later date.
 
In the meantime, please keep Gordy in your thoughts and, to those that do, please pray for Gordy. It takes a village!
