Thank you for your interest in the City Center Project!
The Heart of Rushville is collecting funds to asssist with the City Center project. We are specifically committed to bringing the Princess Theatre back to life along with the restoration of the facade, windows and marqee.
All funds raised through this site will go directly to the Heart of Rushville/Princess Theatre Fund which supports the project and oversees the distribution of all funds contributed. The Heart of Rushville is a 501 c 3.
City Center / Project Goals:
To save and repurpose 20K sq. ft. historic downtown building.
Create a “City Center” that will encourage a vibrant downtown.
Utilize “New” Princess Theater to provide culture and entertainment.
Provide high tech, professional environment for post-secondary education opportunities.
Provide future home of all city administration offices.
New “Community Room” to provide meeting space for City Council, community meetings, social gatherings and events.
Improve the appearance of Downtown Rushville with façade improvements / enhancements.
Create an “anchor” to North side of Downtown area…such as Courthouse and 201 Building provide on the South.
