Sow Seeds of Hope in Madagascar – Help Me Serve and Give Back Through Gospel & Healthcare Work
During my previous trip to Tanzania, I was deeply impacted by the joy of serving others through healthcare. While I gained so much personally—spiritually, professionally, and emotionally—it left me with a desire to give more than I receive. That’s why, as I prepare for my next trip to Good News Hospital in Mandritsara, Madagascar, I don’t want to go empty-handed. I want to bring something —to bless this community with resources that will make a lasting difference.
This hospital is a beacon of both medical care and gospel hope in one of the most underserved regions of Madagascar. While I’ll be offering my time and skills during my placement, I’m also raising funds to support two vital projects—and to help cover the travel costs that will allow me to be there in the first place.
1. Rebuilding the Radio Station – Spreading the Good News
The project team is working to rebuild their radio station with a taller, stronger mast, enabling them to broadcast gospel-centered programming across the entire Mandritsara district. In a region where many still haven’t heard the name of Jesus, this is a powerful tool for outreach. Construction is underway, and Helimission hopes to help airlift the equipment to the top of the hill in just a couple of weeks.
2. Upgrading the Hospital Laboratory – Quietly Saving Lives
The hospital’s lab is essential for nearly every patient—running tests, diagnosing illnesses, and guiding treatments. It’s in urgent need of a new building and better equipment, including:
A reagent fridge – £500
Three new microscopes – £2,000
A biochemistry machine – £5,000
Even here, the gospel is alive—lab staff often pray with patients and share the love of Christ during their daily work. It’s an incredible example of how every corner of this hospital is a place for healing, both physically and spiritually.
“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.” – Ephesians 6:8 (KJV)
This verse reminds us that every good seed we sow—whether through giving, prayer, or action—will bear fruit. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re not only helping cover my travel to serve, but you’re sowing into a legacy of hope, healing, and salvation for countless lives in Madagascar.
Every Gift Makes a Difference
Your donation will go toward both:
Getting me to Madagascar so I can serve with the team, and
Directly funding the radio and lab projects mentioned above.
Should any area become fully funded, the remaining gifts will go toward the hospital’s General Fund, which helps pay staff, power the hospital, and stock life-saving medications.
If you're able to give, thank you. If you're able to pray, thank you even more. And if you're able to share this with others, you’re multiplying the impact. Together, we can plant seeds that will bear fruit for years to come—thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re helping carry not just stethoscopes and scrubs, but real hope to those who need it most.
