On Friday, November 7, Sherry Hughes suffered a stroke and a fall that left her hospitalized for more than six weeks.

Surrounded by the love of her family, Sherry passed away on December 23, 2025.

Sherry's legacy is one of joy, generosity, and community. As the heart behind Good Vibes RVA, she created a space where people felt seen, supported and encouraged. She was endlessly proud of her family and was always the loudest cheerleader for her friends - celebrating their wins and lifting them up through life's challenges.
