Gonzalez Family Mission Trip to DR

In 2015, Lee and I were blessed to travel to Juan Dolio in the Dominican Republic as part of the first international mission team for Relevant Church in Tampa. That trip literally transformed our lives, and enriched our spirit to do more for God.
This summer, we're returning to the Dominican Republic to build on the foundation of service and ministry we planted last year. As exciting an opportunity as that is, we're more excited to share in the experience with our children Natalie and Daniel.
We ask for your prayers as we prepare for this mission trip, and if you feel called to do so, we'd greatly appreciate your financial support as well. Our fundraising target of $4500 covers airfare, lodging, ground transportation, meals, ministry set up, etc. for the four of us while in the Dominican Republic, and your generous donation, which goes directly to Relevant Church via GoFundMe, is tax-deductible.
Our plan for 2016 is to leverage Relevant's years of home rehab experience to tend to La Esperanza nursing home, and provide a makeover of sorts for the benefit of the elderly at that facility. Cleaned floors, painted walls, and new bedding are all part of what makes up our audacious prayer of service. Additionally, we will continue to minister to those living in the sugar cane villages surrounding Juan Dolio, spreading the Good News and reminding them of God's unending love.
It is an absolute privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus here on earth, and we'd humbly love for you to be a part of this as well. We have an aggressive fundraising goal and an April 30 target date, but to quote Mark Batterson, "bold prayers honor God, and God honors bold prayers." -The Circle Maker
