September update

Hi All!

Thank you to those that have donated and reached out to check on me. It’s been a whirlwind of events. So the van has been found but it is a write off because it contains biohazards. The girl that stole the vehicle did drugs in the van and there are needles, blood, shit, empty wine bottles, coke residue etc.

There is no sign of any of my belongings. I had to go to the police station to make a victim impact statement. The girl is out on bail bc she is only charged with driving a stolen vehicle. But they can’t prove that she is the one that stole the van. I also am unable to get any of my belongings back even if she might have them.

So I am still trying to get back on my feet. I can’t work without a vehicle so I have no income right now.

August Introduction

Hi, my name is Maxine and I have a kitten named Penny.

Recently something awful happened to us.

Someone stole my keys and drove off in my van. The only lead I have is they tried to use my credit card in Cambridge and there is video footage that was submitted to the police.

In that van I lost my whole life - my identity (passport, birth certificate, drivers license, health card, etc), ways to pay (credit cards, debit cards, and cash), volleyball equipment (nets, lines, 2 bags of balls, antennas), my work things (IPAD, notebooks, books, kids toys), my personal items such as clothes, camping gear, my kittens toys and food.

This by far is the worst thing I have ever experienced bc right now I don’t have an identity and now need to start from scratch to get back to where I was.

Any help at this time would be so incredibly helpful. I happen to have a shared bank account with my mom that she is able to have access to my account for the time being.
