I believe no one should be left behind in the digital world. My inspiration comes from my mom, who is 76 and often gets frustrated with technology—even something as simple as saving a contact can be overwhelming. I see this struggle in many seniors, and I want to change that.

That’s why I’m starting Golden Digital Days, a class for 5 to 10 seniors at a time, where we’ll start from scratch. Each participant will receive a free phone, and together we’ll learn everything from creating passwords to saving numbers, making Gmail accounts, and connecting with family members they may not get to see. Projectors will make it easier for everyone to follow along, and tablets will help me share my screen with the group. We’ll need chairs, tables, and pens so everyone is comfortable and can take notes on what they’ve accomplished.
