Going to Poland to help Ukrainian Refugees

I was born in Lviv, Ukraine in 1978. In 1987 my family left the USSR as refugees. I spent the last three decades living in the USA and I'm grateful to be an American citizen. The last month changed everything for me, the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian regime is a giant war crime. I feel it in my DNA that I must return to Eastern Europe and help out Ukraine right now. I believe that I will be the most useful volunteering on the border of Poland and Ukraine. I speak Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, English, French and a bit of Spanish. I would like to work with the refugees who are crossing the border into Poland. My goals are to help with logistics, translation, and teaching language workshops.
