Filling a Suitcase - Flip Flops & Supplies for Miti Mingi Village

Thanks to your incredible support last time, we did it! Together, we raised enough to help the Miti Mingi village in Kenya repair their roads with essential supplies like wheelbarrows, shovels, small tools and even provide food for their families. That gift was filled with love and I’ve been told the village has new hope now that people on the outside world have shown their love. Thank you.

Now, I’m asking for your help once again.

This time, we’re going sole to soul—literally.

The beautiful people in the village, including the men repairing the roads, are wearing flip flops that are worn through, broken or barely holding together. For many, these are their only shoes. It may seem small, but something as simple as a solid pair of flip flops can change their daily comfort, safety and dignity.

Right now, Dollar Tree in Ontario has a wide variety of flip flops for just $1.75 each - but the sale ends in two weeks. My goal is to buy 30 pairs. Plus, I’ve been scooping up deals on kids’ clothes (like $25 sandals for $1 from Joe Fresh!), school supplies and essentials… but I need your help to finish filling another suitcase that I’ll send with love to my contact Mike in Kenya this November.

My finances are tight at the moment, but my heart is all-in. I've already purchased approx. $150 worth of supplies.
