I met Katie, Jay and Margaux (Go-Go for short) through mutual friends a few years ago.
When our mutual friend unexpectedly passed away; it pulled Katie, Jay, Go-Go and I all closer together. We formed an incredible lifelong friendship. I've learned how thoughtful and loving (among many other qualities) this amazing family is. They are vibrant with life and both children are involved in a number of activities and are so intelligent.
Unfortunately another unexpected and tragic event has occurred this past weekend. Jay and Go-Go's (Katie's children) father was killed in a car accident that has left them all heartbroken. Jay suffered a concussion but he will be okay. Jay will be turning 16 this week and Go-Go is just 13.
