**Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this year's event will be following all ministry of health guidelines and protocols including use of PPE and mandatory distancing, to ensure the safety of all volunteers and attendees.**
Since 2014, we have been able to raise a total of over $9,500 for an annual Christmas celebration in underserved communities in Colombia. It began with 2 neighborhoods in our hometown of Cali and has expanded to 3 communities in Cali and Barranquilla.
Each year a full-day event is organized with music, games, dinner and a prayer service for the kids and their families. The kids are given individually wrapped, age appropriate gifts, as well as a backpack with school supplies. We also aim to raffle several bicycles at each event for kids of different ages. Thus far, we have been able to provide for 180 - 200 local children each year, giving the families hope and support in communities where economic circumstances make merry holidays an impossible dream.
This year our goal is to raise $2,000. With your help, we know we can make their dreams possible!
Your donation will go towards purchasing gifts, school supplies, event organizations and meals, as well as shipping of toys and new clothing that is purchased/donated, for the kids and their family members. This year we will also be providing PPE equipment.
