After decades of injustice and racism, the uprisings combating systemic and police brutality in almost every major city across the country have been a turning point in attaining racial and structural justice.
We are the People's Power Coalition, a multi-generational collective of activists from various organizations, including The Bronx Mutual Aid Network, Good Kids Mad City Baltimore/Chicago, Integrate NYC, The Congress of Essential Workers, and the Philadelphia Autonomous Encampment. We have organized a protest in DC on the 27th, which will take place outside Jeff Bezos mansion. The event will be a unification of the Movement for Black Liberation and the labor struggle. Our activists will speaking at the protest.
The next day will be the big Commitment March on Washington, organized by Martin Luther King lll and Rev. Al Sharpton. The march will be on the 57th anniversary of MLK Jr.'s infamous "I have a Dream Speech", and it will seek to restore and recommit the dream he defined that year.
Your donation will insure the travels, lodging, food and security of young local Black activists in our coalition. They are traveling from New York City, Chicago and Philadelphia.
For more direct donations, as GoFundMe takes a small cut of each donation, our Venmo is @PeoplesPower-Movement and our CashApp is $PeoplesPowerMovement.
