Arlington Neighbors Support Old Dominion Cleaners

Twenty-five years ago in April 1996, Charlene and Tien Nguyen opened Old Dominion Cleaners in Arlington. They worked hard. They grew a small business. They raised their kids. They took care of our dirty laundry. They got to know all the customers -- every one of us by name.
In March 2020, the laundry stopped showing up. The shirt racks emptied out. Old Dominion Cleaners has been hit hard. There's a real chance we could lose this business in the coming months.
This GoFundMe campaign has been set up by customers of Old Dominion Cleaners. Charlene and Tien are a part of our community and our families. We need them, and we need Old Dominion Cleaners to survive the COVID-19 economy. Charlene and Tien are the kindest, hardest working folks in town. They need and deserve our support.
Please join your Arlington neighbors to support Old Dominion Cleaners:
(1) Donate Generously. Help fill the hole created by six months of lost business. Give what you can to keep the lights on at Old Dominion Cleaners. All GoFundMe proceeds will be given to Charlene and Tien.
(2) Raid Your Closet. Bring your business back to Old Dominion Cleaners. Take in shirts, suits and dresses for a cleaning. Get the sweaters and coats cleaned and ready for autumn and winter. Find some blankets or quilts that are due for a good washing. Have those table linens laundered and pressed. Get your alteration needs taken care of. Wear a nice pressed shirt for your next Zoom call. Surprise the whole family by putting on a crisp pair of pants. Start wearing the nice clothes again. It's ok to be all dressed up with nowhere to go!
