The Mission

Inspired by true stories and driven by our faith, The Children of God was born from a burning desire to speak up where others remain silent. The film exposes the networks of child trafficking that operate not only across borders but right under our noses — in our own “safe” communities, neighbourhoods, and institutions. It dares to uncover the uncomfortable truths others won’t touch, holding criminals accountable no matter their power, status, or influence.

This is a mission the mainstream media won’t support.

This is a film the government won’t fund.

But it’s a truth that must be told— and that’s where you come in.

Our Journey So Far

Before we even began filming the full feature, we produced a 3-minute teaser to ignite awareness— shot in Fort Myers, Florida— and presented it alongside our debut short film A Day Without Us at the Disney Springs AMC Dine-In Theatre in Orlando, and later at the Colossus Vaughan Cineplex in Canada. That event was attended by Tim Ballard, whose work fighting trafficking inspired this project. He delivered a heartfelt speech in support of our vision, and reminded us all: the time to act is now.

Why We Need Your Help

As a Canadian-based independent production company, GoFilms Productions receives no public funding for this type of film. The reality is: stories that challenge corruption and protect children don’t get mainstream backing. That’s why we’re relying on the support of people of faith, freedom fighters, and those who care deeply about what happens behind closed doors.

We plan to shoot The Children of God across multiple locations in the USA, Canada, and Brazil, bringing together a powerful international cast and crew. But we cannot do it alone.
