God's Grace for Seth Garner
Donation protected
Our 20-year son (soon to be 21), Seth Garner, is an opioid addict. Over the last 2.5 years, he has overdosed three times and been in rehab three times. He is currently in rehabilitation and detoxing for Fentanyl addiction. Seth, when not on drugs, is a kind-hearted, funny, smart, capable young man, but when on drugs, he falls to the depths of hell. This drug is extremely additive and dangerous to the point of death. He has admitted he does not want to be an addict and has laid his transgressions and addiction at the feet of Jesus. “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to mankind. And God is faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
By God’s grace and with this last relapse, Seth did not overdose, but we found and recovered him from living in his car and using drugs. (5 minutes later and we would have missed him). All we want for Seth is love, happiness, peace of mind, a future with a skill/trade and to remain drug-free. Also by God’s grace, we have found Beartooth Men’s Rehab facility on 40,000 acres in the middle of “no-where” Wyoming. This is a Christian rehab facility where men (ages 18-30) struggling with addiction work on the ranch, engage in therapy/counseling, and are taught a skill or trade. This facility however does not take insurance or government funding, and the cost is $65,000.00 for one year.
We are praying and asking our friends, families and others to please donate to Seth’s recovery and future, so he can have the kind life and happiness he deserves. Anything you can please do to help towards his future would be most appreciated, and we truly love and are thankful for our son, Seth, and for you.
“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)
