We are not Militant

Militant Church in Ferndale recently reserved to an act of homophobia, ordering a cake from a business, owned by a lesbian woman.  They have requested a cake with a custom message "Homosexual acts are gravely evil" in hope of creating controversy.   We will not tolerate this bullying in our community. We are going use donations to order lawn signs with messages "We are not Militant" to deliver our peaceful message of equality to publicly protest the actions of Militant Church.  Their hate has no place in our community! The balance of donations will be given to Corktown Health Center (LGBTQ health center for Detroit region) in the name of the bakery owner.
