My name is Kathy. I am the mother of Robert. We were just reunited after I handed him over to his adoptive parents 40 years ago. He reached out to me on August 26, and I answered. We have been in contact with each other ever since God brought my son home.

As I am getting to know him, I found out his wife, Amber, has a rare disease called IIH. It’s a nerve disease that keeps her in bed most of the time from the pain she has. My son is doing the best he can. They have 2 little ones as well, and Robert is the caregiver for his family. I told him that I would do all I can to help him, but I live on a fixed income from SS, so I’m not able to help him financially. But I have tried to make sure they had food, and God has provided for that. We are both Christians, and we know God will always provide. He also has a Christian podcast on TikTok, which doesn’t pay much, but it’s a little. I’m trying to see if we can get some help with SSI, but that takes time as well.

I prayed about this, and I felt maybe, just maybe, God would touch some hearts for my new family I love so much.

This is a battle right now, but WE KNOW WHO WINS. So please help my son and his family and pray for us. I thank you for reading this momma's heart for her son and his family. May God bless each and every one of you.
