In 2018, I had the privilege of volunteering with Point Hope in Ghana, Africa. (My third trip to Africa) These experiences have opened my eyes to the resilience, hope, and kindness of the human spirit. Since my feet were barely back in the U.S., I felt God’s calling to return and support their ongoing work.

I am now raising funds to make a direct impact during my upcoming trip to Ghana. The money we raise together will go toward buying goats, raising them and using the proceeds to feed people of the Krisan refugee camp. The goats will carry so much meaning beyond a means of nutrition. The money will also help fund bricks for a young man who once lived in the Buduburum refugee camp—(I met him in 2018) Jamael will be building his first home by hand, literally making each brick! We plan to lay that first brick together. My heart is overjoyed at the simple thought of this!

Beyond these projects, I’d like to have the flexibility with the funds to meet needs as they arise, these might be: rice, medicine, water, farming supplies.

Every dollar will go directly to the people and projects that need it most, and I will be there in person to ensure your generosity makes a real difference.

Every gift, no matter the size, will have a big impact and is absolutely perfect. I pray the goats will multiply in time…a symbol of hope. And, Jemael’s story, is absolutely incredible. (To be told at a later time. ) I pray he will have a safe place to call home, where his heart can rest and he can believe in the goodness of humanity.
