Hello, we are Driss Tardieu, Lennox Millstein, and Roberto Caporal, three highschoolers that attend Gulliver Preparatory Schools, and we are on a mission to create lasting impact in West Africa. Through our current project, we are working to provide a free soccer camp for children in The Gambia who would otherwise have no access to proper training and mentorship.

But our vision goes beyond sports.

This GoFundMe campaign is focused on funding a borehole to provide clean, safe water to a rural community on the Senegal-Gambia border, in Karang, Senegal, an area where access to clean water is dangerously limited.

In Karang, more than 60% of families lack reliable access to clean drinking water. People, especially children, walk miles each day just to fetch water, often from unsafe sources. This affects health, education, and economic stability, and it puts immense pressure on both people and animals in the region.

With government approval already secured, we will be traveling to The Gambia within the next month to begin construction of the borehole. They’re partnering with North Star Academy, a local institution in The Gambia, to make this project a reality and ensure that the clean water is sustainably managed for the long-term.

This borehole will provide clean water to at least 10 extended families, and potentially support up to 100 people and their livestock. It’s a game-changer for the community, offering not just health and hygiene, but also hope and dignity.

Donations will directly fund the drilling, equipment, and setup of the borehole system. Every contribution brings Karang one step closer to clean water and a better future.
