Go fund me for Leif Peterson’s pancreatic cancer

Hello everyone!
This is Leif Peterson’s daughter, Sarah. It breaks my heart to tell you all this, but, he has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer.
This has all happened very fast, two months ago, he developed severe stomach pain, losing 25% of his bodyweight in this time. He never had any previous warnings, and just like that, evil, rotten, cancer came.
So, I’m heartbroken. Words cannot even describe the utter sadness in my soul. My Dad on the other hand is being so strong, and just wants to be happy while he has time here. He says he’s had a good life, and says he is ready to fight with chemo because it might give him more time, and if it doesn’t work, he is ready to be reunited in heaven with my mother. He has never truly gotten over her loss, and cancer stole her too.
I am asking for help to pay for rent and bills for him and his buddy Oslo (his cat). Oslo is 19, and has some expensive medical needs to live. He was the last pet my father had with my mother.
My dad isn’t the type of person to ask for help, but he truly needs it at this time. He’s only 63, so, we are working on his retirement and social security, which will take a while. The absolute last thing he needs is stress, so I am asking for your help.
My dad has been part of the music community for many years, playing in bands such as The Urge, The Commercials, Land Fill Park, and The Pheromones. He has given a lot of guitar lessons over the years, to many people. Including the most recent, his grandson Ivan. He has many friends and people he has played music with who have reached out, and, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank his coworkers Brian and Guadeloupe, who have been so helpful since the beginning.
We don’t know how much time we have, or what way the wind will blow. But, like he said, he wants to be happy with the time that he has left. He wants to be in his home as long as he can.
The doctors say he could have a year, maybe three with treatment. But, cancer is always unpredictable. I will always take care of him. He always loved me, and was so good to me. I will always love him and be good to him.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you cannot donate, we could use the prayers, or good energy sent his way.
Sincerely,
Sarah Peterson
