My Ummi, My Queen, MY MOTHER!!!!! I lost MY MOTHER. The person that taught us how to love. How to cook. How to sew. How to work hard. Taught us how to never turn your back on those who you considered family. Taught us that we must give, even when we don’t have. Taught us when to stay silent. Taught us when to speak up. Taught us when to let go. Taught us when to hold on. Taught us when to turn our cheek. Taught us when to fight. Taught us to Hate what God Hates. Taught us to Love what God Loves.

My mother worked, she worked extremely hard. Sometimes held multiple jobs. Wake up. Lay out the game plan to get ready for school. Go work the 1st full time. Get off. Rush home before the kids got out of school. Made sure they had food. Talked about school. Started homework. Set the expectations and then off to the 2nd full time job. Come home. Double check their homework Double checked that everything ready for school Made sure those expectations were met and rushed to get 4 hours of sleep to do it all over again. Still made sure her and her children had some sort of fun on a Saturday. Rested on Sunday to prepare to do it all over again. THIS WAS MY MOTHER!!!

My mother was a fighter. First child at 16, ten children in total. A bunch of health complications. She’s been at war for her entire life! Ive seen her fight everything. But the only thing she couldn’t fight was God! My mother contracted COVID-19 and on March 28th, God willed that, that was going to be my mother’s last battle. No more war, no more pain, no more suffering, no more hard work. This thing is real, this thing is serious, this thing took the absolute most precious person to me.

We are asking for financial help to support our younger siblings ages 10, 13 and 15. We do not have the financial means to buy everything they need, anything you can to support is greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading my story.
