Bali Aid will continue to endorse programs across the Island that are helping feed individuals and families who have been disadvantaged by Covid-19. Through our grassroots efforts to help during the crisis we have discovered several other areas of need. and hope to address those with your continued support Please continue to follow us on our Facebook page Bali Aid 2020  our Instagram @bali.aid.  We will be announcing our next fundraising campaigns very shortly.
Bali Aid is grateful for the work being done by Scholars of  Sustenance as they continue to provide  thousands of meals daily through their food rescue platform and newly opened community kitchen. Bali Aid

---

Dear friends, family and those who have Bali in their hearts,

Bali needs your help, and we ask you to lend your hand.

COVID-19 has been hard on everyone. And Bali is no different. 80% of the jobs in Bali are in tourism. With flight restrictions, travel bans, and hotel closures: hundreds of thousands of Balinese and Indonesian hospitality workers have lost their income.

Every day, families all over the island are severely struggling to put food on the table. Without a job, without income, and without any certainty for their future.

That’s why we want to help. Keeping these families alive is the first priority. And it’s as simple as donating for food.

WHO WE ARE

BALI AID 2020 is a initiative set up to provide and distribute food to those that need it most. We work closely with Scholars of Sustenance who been active in Bali since 2016, helping impoverished communities with food donations. SOS has the know-how and the right contacts to ensure that every donation is delivered exactly where it needs to be.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO

Every monetary donation goes directly towards buying and distributing food to the communities who need it most.  We collaborate with local farmers, market vendors, and retailers to ensure the best price and nutritional value. SOS has their own trucks for direct distribution.

We also install community fridges (where people can store their surplus food for those in more need).

BALI AID 2020 is volunteer-based, meaning no money raised through this campaign will be used for operations other than stated above.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE

1. Donation
Your donation, no matter what size, can make a life-altering impact for a family in need.

As little as .20 USD means a piece of protein, a carbohydrate and a portion of vegetable or fruit item.

2. Spread the word
To reach our goal of $50.000 (and beyond) we need to do this together, with as many people as possible. Please send this message out to your friends, family, and network. The more people that are able to help, the more families we can feed.
