Help my husband stay in Australia!

My name is Skye and am currently living with my husband, June, who is from the United States. We are both transgender!

We were able to move June over last November on a working holiday visa, with the intention of saving up for a partner visa as soon as he was able to find work - to give him a safe and secure life in Australia, especially with the growing uncertainties of safety and human rights for transgender people in the States (and in Idaho, where he's from).

We have built up a life together in Melbourne. We have an apartment, we have a cat, and we have friends and family here. However, with the current state of the job market, June has been unable to find employment thus far, and as a result we have barely been able to raise any money to apply for his partner visa before the approaching deadline.

With the cost of the partner visa being raised once more, we are humbly asking for your help to help him stay in Australia, to keep him safe from a country who is threatening to tear away his rights and livelihood, and to help him continue to foster the life and future he has already built.
