Janssen Science Charity of the Year 2022

The CSR Team are delighted to announce that Good Shepherd Cork has been chosen as the new site Charity Partner. Good Shepherd Cork was established in 1981. They work with women, children and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They welcome people of all backgrounds, ages and stages of life. Many on site will be familiar with Edel House who provide emergency accommodation for women and children who find themselves homeless (and more recently Dads and children), Edel house is just one arm of Good Shepherd Cork. Good Shepherd Cork is made up of a number of different facilities that include residential care for teenage girls, families, long term transitional housing, education and development to name but a few.

Good Shepherd Cork was chosen because of the large number of ways that are open to us as a site to get involved both directly and indirectly with those who avail of their many different facilities and services, and it affords the site the opportunity to come together in groups, departments and individually to help.
