Right now, within our neighbor Panama, there are many people in remote areas who lack simple hygiene, access to basic medicines and clean drinking water. This results in treatable ailments such as parasites, skin conditions, and diseases to name a few. With just a little support and medical resources, these lives can be bettered dramatically. 

That's why I hope to join Global Medical Training this May to set up clinics in these hard to reach towns.  I am exploring a future in helping people through global medicine and healthcare, so I feel this experience is really important as well as a special way to help others. Using my Spanish skills I will be able to assist in medical assessments and provide hygiene training to families.  Combined with my savings and your kind donation, I hope to have $2,000 to pay for the air travel, lodging and purchasing hygiene kits to give out to patients. I hope to fundraise this money by March 10th.
