Global Medical Brigades to Ghana

My name is Makayla McDonald, and I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, set to graduate in May 2025 with a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. As I near the completion of my undergraduate studies, I am excited to pursue my goal of continuing my education by applying to Physician Assistant (PA) school in the future.

In line with my passion for learning and gaining diverse experiences, I have been presented with a unique opportunity to study abroad in Ghana for a week from May 25th to June 1st. This trip will allow me to acquire firsthand knowledge and skills that will enhance my application to PA school and enrich my future career in healthcare. While also providing funds for medical equipment and healthcare.

While this is a valuable and exciting experience, I am seeking assistance to help make this trip possible. The funds needed to pay for the trip are due by April 18th. Any support you are able to provide would mean so much to me and would contribute greatly to my educational and professional growth.
