Global Brigades, Panama 2025

Hi, my name is Amy and I'm a final year Student Paramedic in London.

This summer I'll be one of over 30 medical and healthcare students, with the Kent and Medway Medical School, joining Global Brigades for a trip to Panama. We will be working in remote, rural, and under resourced communities with limited existing access to healthcare. These communities receive a brigade every 3-4 months, and in early August, we'll be making the visit.

During our time, we will provide medical triage, healthcare services, conduct public health workshops, and collect electronic patient records to monitor health trends for future visits.

To support our mission, many of us have begun fundraising in TfL tube stations in Central London amongst numerous other efforts. If you would like to sponsor me, please donate on this page or get in touch - any amount you could spare would be beyond incredible.

In addition, we are in need of basic supplies including soap, toothpaste, hand sanitiser, and sanitary towels to bring with us for the community.
