Glioblastoma Multi-forme, and My Auntie Cherry’s Journey

Hi, my name is Fiona and i am fundraising for my auntie, my mentor, tita Cherry. 

 It was a heart breaking moment for our whole family when we found out that my tita has —a rare but the most aggressive Brain Tumor, Glioblastoma Multiforme. She was previously diagnosed with Stroke but little did we know a tumor is growing in het brain aggressively within a span of 2 months it went from 1cm to 9cm. We never had this sickness in our family tree before. All the more shocking it was because my tita is a very positive thinking person and as i’ve mentioned she was my mentor specially in maintaining good health and mind. She changed my life in bringing out the best in me. She’s a beautiful soul with a big heart, she’s a leader, and a tender loving mother of 3 bright young kids! 

We know she have a strong spirit and we know she is fighting this sickness right now! and we will give our all to support her. 

 “GBMs just happens spontaneously, with/ without genetic predisposition” 

 After other modalities failed, we as a family finally decided for her to get operated. It is not easy for us tackling the hospital bills but the whole family made it happen with the help of the Philippine government and the people who gave the most they can give we all thank you for that <3 

 She was out of hospital after 3 days however it’s not like she was fully healed. Just a few days ago, she had an emergency episode wherein she needed to be tubed and be placed in the Intensive Care Unit. 

 In behalf of my family, I am knocking in your hearts to help us support my Auntie’s journey by helping us fund her hospital bills. We want to give her our all when it comes to support, love and care. The funds will be used for her bills and the supportive treatments included for her holistic healing. 

 This is also for the awareness of people who doesn’t know about the gravity of this aggressive sickness. It is literally like a thief of the night. There are families out there silently struggling we don’t even have any idea what they’ve been through fighting this type of cancer. If this will be successful, I’d like to raise the fundraising for families in my country who are experiencing the same as us. I know God will send his angels to help
