Run WHW 96 miles in 36 hours for NICU QEUH and GRI

Donation protected
On 25th of July I will be running the West Highland Way (96miles) in less than 36 hours to try and help raise money for both QEUH and GRI NICU.  Have a read at why I'm doing this below,  Thanks very much. Jamie  Born at 23 weeks and 4 days gestation, on the 23/04/19 weighing in at 470 grams (1.03lbs) Islay McDevitt graced us with her unexpected grand entrance ass first, literally. (born breech) One of the smallest babies the nurses had seen but with the heart of a lion. Tiny but mighty!! 119 days of countless blood transfusions, cannulas, Sepsis, ROP surgery, Chronic lung disease, collapsed lungs, open duct in heart and non stop worry.  Had it not been for the love, care and affection from absolutely everyone in NICU QEUH and GRI from the surgeons, doctors, consultants, practitioners, nurses and student nurses I wouldn't have her lying cuddled up on me just now as I type this ❤️. It's easy to see that it is much much more than just a job to these miracle workers. We owe them a debt that can never ever be repaid. The love and support shown to us coupled with Islays desire to battle each day got us heading for the exit signs with our little warrior much sooner than we ever thought possible. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN IN THE NICU my Daughter is living proof  ❤️ no words will ever do how we feel justice but from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much, our Daughter is alive because of each and every one of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️xXxXx
