Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I have been in scouting my entire life. This experience has enriched me and helped me grow into the person I am today. One of the goals I set out for myself is to become an Eagle Scout. To reach this goal, all that is left for me to do is to complete an Eagle Scout Project that demonstrates leadership and gives back to my community. I have chosen to build 4 benches for my high school, San Ramon Valley (SRV) High School. These benches will provide much-needed seating for students during lunchtime and an area to gather and help build community. I am proud of this project because it will help leave my legacy for years to come.

 

THE ASK: To pay for the materials to build these benches, I am asking for a donation (big or small) from you. Your generous (and tax deductible) donation will be used to pay for the wood, stain, and all other supplies used in the project. The benches will be constructed out of Redwood. While the cost for Redwood is more expensive, I want to ensure that the benches can withstand the different weather conditions and high use and that they last for a long time
