The Giving Garden needs seed money, literally!  In the past 3 years the garden has donated around 6 tons of fresh and organic produce to our food banks and soup kitchens in Pittsfield, MA.  This year the garden size has again expanded.

We added a huge patch of non allergenic sunflowers that were delivered to hospice patients.  We expanded our paintable (and delishious) pumpkin patch.  All the gardens have been expanded and squared off.

3 handicapped accessable raised beds were built by Eagle Scouts this year to offer as family garden plots.  

We are starting early to raise money for seeds for next summer.  Catalogs will start arriving soon :)

Our goal is to grow as much nutrient dense food as we can, mow less grass and give it all to families that are food insecure via special deliveries, food banks and meal sites.
