Giving Back to Black

African-Americans are less likely to be afforded groundbreaking opportunities as their white counterparts. Black and Royal AF (https://www.blackandroyalaf.com/) built a table for us. For black professionals, entrepreneurs, and influencers in various industries giving access to network across with people who look like them in addition to providing guests with a culinary experience.

Launching Juneteenth 2017, Black and Royal AF continues to invite our community to sit where they belong. To break bread together as a family. To discuss the black climate. To network and use each other as resources to push the culture forward. To band together as change agents and promote the good in our community. To elevate and empower. To leave the table with newfound perspectives. To leave the table with new friendships and community ties. To leave the table with solid collaborative efforts. To leave the table with tangible information and resources that you didn’t show up with and much more. For our 3rd anniversary, we are Giving Back to Black and collaborating with our supporters and likeminded friends and associates to raise money to sow back into our community.

Join us in raising money for The Black Upstart's  #MyBlackReceipt Movement. The Black UpStart (www.theblackupstart.com/) has trained Black entrepreneurs across the country in 12 U.S. markets and also Southern Africa.  Over 400+ Black Entrepreneurs have enrolled in our classroom training, and over 50% are still in business and making sales.  Their initiatives include business bootcamps, The Night School, and SkillhouseU (https://skillhouseu.com/) - a Black Wealth School, and its #MyBlackReceipt Movement (https://myblackreceipt.com/).

#MyBlackReceipt Movement is national initiative to get consumers to buy black and upload their receipts to a public platform. This movement leverages the collective spending authority of Black people and our allies. Receipts are proof of purchase. Our community must validate and verify the purchases that happen in Black communities millions of times a day. In doing so, this movement will demonstrate our collective buying power while using robust data. Black economic independence is the only true pathway to freedom especially in a capitalist economy.

- Its goal is to inspire the nation to spend $5 million with black owned enterprises starting Juneteenth and through July 6, 2020.

- This is the first measurable buy black movement that creates transparency and demonstrates how our collective efforts can make a financial impact on Black Businesses.

- Participating is simple, buy Black, upload your receipt, and your purchase is added to thousands of others buying Black starting Juneteenth.

Let's contribute to their continued success, upcoming launch, and lifting them, African-American entrepreneurs, and innovators in the beam of light they deserve!
