Giving Susanna’s Kitchen a New Home

Tax deductible
Susanna’s Kitchen, a local non-for-profit, has found a new home. The valued organization providing a lunch meal to food insecure residents was located at 431 South 3rd Street but has been displaced due to the sale of the building. The Knights of Columbus have kindly offered to allow Susanna’s Kitchen to temporarily serve meals from their facility at 112 East Lexington Street until a permanent location is found. Grace Lutheran Church, located at 831 W. Marion Street, is thrilled to offer them permanent residency. However, substantial renovations are required to keep the building up-to-date to comply with current codes and standards. In addition, new equipment and a great deal of construction are needed before the official opening.

Susanna’s Kitchen is an important organization that provides food for insecure residents and guidance surrounding other support services to residents. Although the cost of renovations is high, Susanna’s Kitchen and Grace Lutheran Church are prepared to do what is required to raise funds and give the Kitchen a new and permanent home.

Any amount helps toward our goal. So let's work together to give Susanna's Kitchen a new home.
