After spending 4 days with Nick (army veteran served 13 years for the Royal Lancers) reclaiming his overgrown garden that was given to him in this state when he started his tenancy, we saw how much joy we brought him. He was isolated with no transport with the nearest supermarket 12 miles away, so we shocked with a few surprises!

So many of you said you would like to help him further so we started this fund to give him a boost, so that's what we have done.

We will be (surprising) checking in on Nick in a couple of days with a gift from Kress, at the same time a big cheque of what this lovely community has raised!

The money raised will be not be for a project but for Nick to decide how he can better his life.
