Assalamu Alaikum, my name is Zahra.
This Ramadan, I am raising funds in memory of my beloved parents, who both passed away when I was very young. My mother returned to Allah on December 16, 2013, and my father on October 14, 2016. Losing them at such a young age has been incredibly difficult, but I find comfort in knowing that I can continue to honor them through acts of kindness and charity.
In Islam, sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) is one of the greatest ways to benefit our loved ones even after they have left this world. This Ramadan, I want to dedicate this fundraising effort to them, ensuring that their legacy lives on through good deeds.
I will be using the funds raised to support people in Bangladesh, providing them with cause food, clean water, medical aid, education, orphan support. This is a cause close to my heart, and I know it would have made my parents proud. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will be a source of blessing for them and for all of us.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), knowledge that benefits others, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
Please join me in making this a reality. Your generosity will not only provide help to those in need but will also be a continuous source of reward for my parents in the hereafter.
May Allah accept this from all of us and shower His mercy upon my parents. Ameen.
