The Giving Garden was founded in 2012 and is a registered 501c3 that produces vegetables and eggs for families and individuals in our community that struggle with food security. All food is donated to local shelters and meal sites. The Giving Garden is 100% volunteer run (zero administrative overhead.)

In 2025 we are adding 2 more hoop houses and 50 more chickens to increase our donations.

By cutting our hoop house pathways in half, adding 2 more hoop houses and doubling the size of our laying flock our estimated food donation comes in at over $30,000.

This campaign will fund:

2 additional hoop houses (matching grant funds)

Hoop house foundations

Chick purchase

Chicken food (purchased from Wirtes Farms in Lanesboro, MA)

Drip hose, garden hose

Gardening tool replacements

Tractor maintenance and gas
