When I was seven months old I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After two years of treatment and more than a dozen chemotherapy agents, the team at Seattle Children’s helped me become cancer free. Their care did more than treat an illness. It gave me a childhood and the chance to grow into the person I am today.

I still receive my oncology care at Seattle Children’s, and every checkup feels like a visit back home instead of a scary trip to the hospital. The nurses and doctors who supported me as a baby continue to watch my progress and keep me healthy. Because of their relentless work, I’ve been able to build a life filled with hope, friendships, and possibility.
