This week has been incredibly difficult for one of the sweetest humans I know. She’s a hardworking single mom doing everything she can to create a safe, stable home for her five-year-old son.

After she and her son both battled illness recently, they discovered mold in their apartment, which now means she has to replace their mattresses, couch, and pillows to keep their home safe. These are expenses no one prepares for especially right before the holidays.

She’s been trying to hold everything together, but this is a lot for one person. More than anything, she just wants her little boy to have a warm, clean home and a holiday that still feels magical, even in the middle of all this stress.
