Giving a Helping Hand for Christina and Cassidy
Donation protected
On August 5, 2020 Courtney Travis Gallaher tragically lost his life at the age of 41 yrs old. He left a huge void in the lives of his wife, Christina Altman Gallaher and his youngest child, (2 yrs old), Cassidy and Haveyn (older daughter from a previous marriage). He loved his family and was the "protector". Courtney was my best friend and over the years he has shared his hopes and his dreams for his family. Many times he would tell me how much that he thanked God for giving him Christina. He would talk about how strong Christina was in her faith. When he would talk about Cassidy, he would say, "She's a miracle baby". He would play Cassidy's favorite worship song, "Waymaker" and tell her -"Say Hallelujah" and up her little hands would go up and she would dance while the song played.
This GoFundMe Page is an attempt to help raise funds to help Christina and Cassidy through this difficult time of transition and give them a helping hand. When an unexpected loss like this occurs, no one is ever prepared emotionally, physically, mentally nor financially. Right now, Christina and Cassidy are facing some financial obstacles. They are desperately in need of a vehicle and help with everyday life necessities. Christina has been a "stay at home mom" up to this point. She needs transportation to get to work and Cassidy to daycare.
My goal is to raise at least $10,000. This will give them a boost to help them with their current needs and just ease one area of their life. I've often heard people say and I've said it myself, "I'll be praying for you". Prayer is good and is necessary, but there are times, that we need to put feet on our prayers. You see, we are God's hands extended. Please consider lending a helping hand.
