My husband has a mass on his liver, a mass between his lung and rib cage wall, congestive heart failure, emphysema, and COPD. He fights for air just to take a step, and living off-grid in a camper is extremely hard for someone who is terminally ill. He's been on life support, in and out of the hospital, and hospice was involved, but we had to let them go because they wanted to separate us by putting him in a nursing home. We both started to cry at the thought of being apart after nearly 29 years of marriage—our anniversary is July 4th, 2026. Every night, he tells me, 'Baby, I know I'm dying, please don't cry. Please go home with family when I pass.' Hearing this breaks my heart, but his only wish is for us to have a place we can call home and be happy together for whatever time we have left.
Recently, a game warden told us we have less than a week before everything is impounded, and we could be left on the street with just the clothes on our backs. I found a one-bedroom apartment and am hoping to raise enough to move in so my husband can spend his remaining days in comfort and dignity. The funds will help us secure a safe place, cover the security deposit, and ensure we are not left homeless during this critical time. We are doing everything we can, but without support, we risk losing everything.
If you can donate any amount to help make my husband's last bit of life happy, it would be greatly appreciated. Any prayers or support mean the world to us. I do have pictures of him on life support and can share upon request. Please, if you can't donate, pray for my husband William Heath. Thank you and God bless!
