Hi family and friends, My name is Kashi! I am fundraising to go on a trip to Thailand to volunteer in 2026. In
2021 I had the opportunity to go with GIVE to the Big Island, Hawaii. Once I arrived I was greeted with overwhelming excitement for this trip to begin. I met the most amazing people who taught me so much and people who also wanted to give back. I will always be so thankful that I had the opportunity to show up every day to work hard, learn the culture, and make memories that will last for a lifetime.
- With that, Thailand has always been a dream of mine to go to and visit. I truly think this is the best opportunity to go and visit, I mean come on!!! Being able to help people and make friendships that I never thought I would make would be pretty freaking amazing. I love helping people in any way shape or form, serving/learning about people is something I strive in, which is why I would love to go on this journey. This fundraising will help with the costs of traveling as well as funding the cost to be able to attend. If you can help it’s very appreciated and if you can’t a share goes along way and is helping!
- Missions work - Our group will work alongside host community members on a variety of projects, including organic farming, reforestation, and English education projects. After my 14 day volunteering I will head over to an elephant sanctuary. We will be learning from local experts about the complex issues Asian elephants face, and educate us on the complex realities of human/elephant conflict in Asia.
