I’m reaching out during a very difficult time. My younger siblings—two teenagers—are about to be kicked out of the place they’re currently staying. As their older sibling, I can’t let them end up without a safe place to go. I’m stepping up to take them in, but I need a little help to make that possible.
Right now, I’m supporting myself on a single income, and transitioning from taking care of just myself to providing for two growing teenagers is a big jump. I’m doing everything I can, but the sudden increase in expenses—housing, food, transportation, school supplies, and just everyday necessities—has made it clear that I can’t do this alone, at least not at the start.
