Give Tom a Safe Home & a Place to Reunite With His Children

Hi. I'm fundraising on behalf of a close friend, Tom. He has no idea I’m doing this — and I’d love nothing more than to surprise him with life-changing support when he needs it most.

Tom is a decent, hardworking man who’s fallen through the cracks. He lost everything: first his business during COVID, then his family. His two young children now live in Australia after a heartbreaking family court decision. He agreed to let them go — not because he wanted to, but because he believed it was best for them. That’s the kind of father he is.

Since then, Tom’s life has collapsed. He’s now homeless, struggling with ADHD, autism, and a recent diagnosis of complex PTSD. Every day is a battle to survive, and he’s been open about regular thoughts of suicide. He’s not lazy. He’s not giving up. He’s broken — but not beyond repair.

What’s keeping him going is the thought of seeing his children this September, their first visit back in years. But as it stands, Tom has nowhere to take them. No home. No stability. No way to create memories that matter.

Tom has always dreamed of living on a narrowboat — a peaceful life close to nature, simple and safe. With your help, we can make that happen. A narrowboat would give him a roof over his head, a permanent home, and a magical place to welcome his children when they visit — something beautiful to hold onto in a life that’s lost too much.
